I stand by EVO's being the best. But they are weld on. So once they are there, they don't easily come off.

If you want cheap you can get some stock rubicon take offs (Well unless you already have a rubi).

There are plenty of bolt on ones as well. Just stay far away from any that attach to the body and the frame. And frame mounted ones are the strongest. Body mounted ones are fine for light usage.

I have the Ace bolt ons that bolt onto the 3 body mount bolts. I have hammered the hell out of mine and they are great. If I was to do it again though, I would get the EVO's and weld them on. They will give you a little more clearance.

If you aren't welding them on get the ACE rails, you can't beat the price and quality and you can put them on with the rubi rails. EVO rails are in the same class with ACE, really comes down to a weld preference.

Poison Spyder: heavy duty, look fantastic

Nemesis: Aluminum multi piece guards that I'm currently obsessed with but they are pricy.

Give these a peak if you have coin to spend and want to avoid the welding.

No Evo's are in a whole nother class. I've seen ACE flex the rubi rails up and create a ton of body damage. They will flex and they will cause body damage either with one good hit or mildly over time. This will not happen with the EVO or any other Frame mounted slider.

Man, that had to be a ridiculous slam to push both up into the body. Ouch.

It was just one of those hits, the damage on the ace rails was only a dent about 4-6 inches in length, they were still usable but the way they pushed up with the rubi rails is where they deformed the lower rocker portion of the Jeep. cracked the paint and bent the body.
