Default Rubicon Rescue this weekend

Hey team,

I posted this up on the Rubicon thread "who's coming" but wanted to start a new thread to get your attention.

Anyways, I got a PM from a fellow JKer out of Washing to ran the Rubicon this last weekend but ended up breaking his steering box on the trail. He's flying back down this weekend with parts in hand and friends to help with the repair..

What's he's asking of us is if we can provide a ride from him and his two buddys (3 seats total) into Buck Island. He would repair and follow the group out just to be safe.

He's offered cash for a ride if that is an incentive for you.

IF you can help let me know.

I've offered 1 seat, looking for 2 more.

Gabe

Update,

AvnxScout has stepped up and offered at least one seat.

Looking for one more to step up!

You know realistically, if they can get to the trail head, throw their gear and parts in someones rig, and just hike, they'll at least keep up and probably beat you guys to Buck Island.... just sayin'....

Thanks a ton guys for all your willingness to help Scott with his Jeep!

Right now it looks like he's flying into Reno Friday evening and working on getting a ride up to Loon Lake Friday night. He'll be ready to go Saturday morning.

Swapping out the steering box should be pretty easy and he'll be ready to follow the group out.

Just wondering did he leave a note or a savage PITBULL(I say pitbull due to their bad rep. However I've seen many pits that wouldn't hurt a fly) On/In the Jeep? I'm just really HOPING NO ONE messed with his Jeep!! I've heard SOME STORYS

I don't want to go into too much detail on a public forum, but the Jeep should be fine. Preventive measures and surveillance are in place.
