Default shops to install lift?

hello, with my tax return coming up (thanks uncle sam for holding onto my money for me), i am hoping to get a new lift installed. I was wondering where a good place to have it done would be? I currently live in Oakley, but would be willing do drive a short ways to have it done (Sac, stockton, bay area, vacaville, etc).

On a side note I was leaning toward the Teraflex 4" LCG long arm setup or the EVO DoubleD long arm kit, with 35's for now. Are there any other parts that I must have (besides front drive shafts and brake line kit) to do this upgrade? Also, any other knowledge, experience, wisdom, etc is much appreciated.

thanks.

Never had a shop install a lift for me, so can't comment on that.

But if you get Teraflex's full system, it comes with almost everything you need. I can't recall offhand what I ended up having to add to the last kit I installed for a friend (Although his was the short arm kit). But outside of the arms and brackets for the arms in the long arm kit, rest of the stuff is nearly the same.

Oh, do you have a 2dr or a 4dr? If its a 2dr, don't get with the 4" springs because you end up with like 6" of lift.

Honestly,if you going with a teraflex lift, read the directions that comes with lift. They explain installation step by step.Get tools needed and install. The money you spend on tools(if needed)is well worth to have, just for maintance purposes.Plus it would be cheaper to do it yourself and you get to learn more about your jeep. Just my 2cents.......

With the lifts you are looking at, you will need to do a lot of cutting and welding. Extreme gear is a good shop.

You right ZKZinger, with a 4'',get a shop to do it if cutting and welding gonna be involve.I was talking more along the lines of a Teraflex 2.5'' suspension lift w/bilstein 5100s shocks.Easy lift to install and i actually got 3.5'' in front and 2.5-3'' in back. And didn't have to replace drive shaft or put no exhaust spacers.

You didn't need exhaust spacers? I thought you needed them for this lift. That's the reason I'm not going with this lift, I have the EVO protek skids that will not work with an exhaust spacer. Sorry for the hijack, was just curious.

Do you have a heavy bumper and winch? The Tera flex is pretty good about not sagging up front. The EVO coil over kit is fully adjustable.
