Default Slickrock Stock?

So my question is, is it possible for me to go to slick rock with a stock JK? I only have 33's and sliders.

Might meet some people up there Saturday, or possibly look for other rides soon.

I just don't want to get out there and be a burden to everybody else because they have to pull me over everything.

You got it. Stucka did it. Ive done it in a stock TJ. Sliders and 33s, youll have fun. You could do the sally alley on the ladder too.

I think you will be fine. the only challenge is on the last obstacle. With a good spotter you will be fine. I saw a cherokee that was on 33s do it.

Thanks for the replies. I was pretty comfortable that I would be ok, but there is always that paranoia of the unknown.. I really need ton invest in a lift. So are it has been harder to choose than the JK! There are so many options and opinions out there. Then a oil pan skid, it just seems so exposed.

How about an oil pan skid, flat fenders and 35's? I know a budget boost and flat fenders easily clears 35's That could be a budget approach if you've already got sliders.

Oil pan skid is coming. I already cut my fenders to clear the 33's with no lift. I thought of the budget boost just to get by for now, I just don't want to regret it like I did buying the 33's. I had it in my head that I wouldn't need (or want) anything bigger. Now all I can think about are 37's!

Unfortunately I have to get a little bit of life out of these tires before taking the plunge.

I will be posting up my old Teraflex 2.5 coil lift next week in the for sale section!
