July 24th!

I finally have a weekend free to hopefully do a little wheeling and would like to go to Slickrock. I'm looking at that trail so the family and I can camp and also do some kayaking during the weekend. It is a short, but sweet trail. We will probably head out this Friday from Sacto and camp Friday nite. Run the trail Saturday late morning and then hit some kayaking in the local lakes. I remember a nice area for that at the end of the trail.

Alpine lake would be a awesome place to do kayaking. Or if you make it to Deer Valley there is great beautiful lake of Blue Lake at the end of the trail. Both lakes offers camp grounds.

 

I'm definitely interested. I'd be coming from the bay area, so probably want to select a place to meet. Let me know what you think.

Cool, we are actually leaving Sac Saturday around 10:30 if you want to meet around here or meet around the trail about 2:00.
We will be camping Sat nite too.

 

Well. I am either going hiking in Santa Cruz mountain, or I MIGHT see you guys at the end of the Deer valley at the Blue lake fishing... or I might just stay home since I have bunch stuffs needs to do...

Sounds good. I plan on spending Friday night at Alpine Lake and doing the trail Saturday. This is my first time in the area so I'm not sure where things are: however, I figure we may run into each other sometime Saturday.

Unfortunately I am busy this weekend. Been wanting to run slickrock, but I can't this weekend :/
