I have no winch, but sounds like we have that covered. Dogs are fine with me. I'll be with my 5yo daughter most likely.

Once we get a time set, those of us around Sacramento could meet up here and head out toward Auburn. Maybe we could meet at 4WPH or Central 4WD?

Since I live in Foresthill- I'll plan on meeting everyone at the Market in town.
It's called Wortons.

...What time were you guys thinking?

You shouldn't have any problem with snow on the road until mid way up to Foresthill. (But they do plow the main roads).
So, depending on conditions "Wortons Market" in Foresthill is about 17 miles from the I-80 exit. (Speed limit is 55 on the main road when it is dry.)

With that said- lets settle your meeting time in Auburn- and someone can call me from there then I can gauge the time you will arrive (I live a few minutes from the market.)

The reason I am suggesting that someone call me in Auburn is because we have hit & miss cell range up here- so you probably wont be able to get a signal in route from Auburn.

...For those of you Valley guys that haven't been this way, you are in for a very nice surprise.

Looking forward

Either time works for me- by the time you get up here it will be 20 to 30 minutes later depending on the main road conditions.

I'll let you & Tryumf decide since you are the only ones on here that have commited.

I have a couple others that said they would come (outside of the forum) & I will let them know the plan.

kidjeep where are you leaving from? We (the wife dogs and me) are coming from W. Sac. If there is a closer place to meet up thats good with me since it is only us two from down here. If not, Auburn is fine too. Let me know.

My buddy Jake said he has a snatch block as well as a winch.

I hope that is ok that a non Jeeper is coming along.

Let me know - or you guys can just show up in Auburn to meet the rest of the gang before they head up my way-
Either way is fine by me
