Eugene- Where is slick rock?? Is that way up mesquito ridge?
Off of Hwy 4 it starts at Utica Res and ends on Hwy 88 by Lake Alpine. Its not that long or hard. I've run it in 40 minutes, and also in the rain without airing down. But it does have a few fun spots. Running from Lake Alpine is the harder of the two.

ps. Slick Rock isn't slick..even when wet!!!

There's a good chance I could go wheeling for a day next weekend Jan10/11. I need to do so near Tahoe so Kristen(wife) can be dropped off/picked up for skiing though!

When I do one, more than likely it will be China Wall towards Soda Springs since it is right down the way from me.

Here is a thought:
Soda Springs road- Starting from the Donner side (this all depends on the condition) I know it isn't plowed from my side.
...That is a long haul though- 25 miles from China wall and the snow is deep.
Usually we just turn around midway.
