Hi,
I'm a jeep owner from NH with a brand new 2011 wrangler X as a rental. I was wondering if there are any trails in the Sacramento/Stockton area that can be run with a bone stock 4x4 jeep? I have it till next wednesday and if you work for National, you never saw this

Snow run this weekend? Saturday off of Hwy 50. If interested PM me. A stock jeep will go pretty good.
We are doing a road patrol where we set up a check station and hang out. We also do smaller group runs during the day. If you want to give it a shot, let me know. If you get stuck, I can pull you out.

It is open to anyone. My club has an event there, but since I'm not an officer any more I don't have to lead the goings on.
This is a good family run because the group will park at a spot where kids can sled (if the weather gets bad, they usually have a bondfire), and set up a base camp. From there groups come and go on snow runs throughout the day.
Everyone is welcome to attend. There are only two requirements - you must have a 4wd with a 2-speed t-case, and you need to have front and rear recovery points. Bringing a yank strap is desirable as well, but not required. Also bring a good attitude and expect everyone to get stuck at some point.
Be sure to bring an icechest with some drinks and snacks. We meet at a Subway so you could pick up a sandwich there for lunch! Let me know if you want some more details!

considering a scratch on this thing is going to cost me 700 dollars upon return, I hope its not too crazy. I'm def open to more details. My buddy has an 04 pathfinder that may be interested as well. I think that has a 2 speed transfer case...
This weekends run is driving on a paved road that is not plowed, which climbs to nearly 8000 ft elevation. The snow just keeps getting deeper and deeper. There is ZERO risk of scratches or body damage unless you aren't paying attention.
Nearly everyone will get stuck at some point in this run so recovery points are required. Getting stuck in the snow is not a problem. Recovery is fast and simple.
Don't be discouraged. This is a low risk fun run. Families should enjoy this as well. PM me if you have any questions. Everyone is welcome!!!
