I thought it said Santa Clarita , you are right , it's to far away. Hollister is a good place , I've been there many times .

Who installed the gears?

I actually had something similar happen in the rear axle of my J10. In that case one of the ring gear bolts actually backed all the way out and was flopping around inside. Its amazing it didnt get caught in the ring and pinion and blow the whole thing up.

4Wheel Parts,and more amazing that other than a low hum,it got us through 2 Rubicon trips,1 Swamp lake trip in a 2 year time.Did'nt know the teeth were coming apart until after the last Holister trip were i kept hearing popping sounds coming from the front.Had the Rear End Shop in Riverbank take care of it this time
