Default Afternoon project

I decided to goof around with some spray paint. Made me some stencils and painted away. These are the Element panels for BestTop tube doors. Over the weekend I trimmed the panel near the locks and added a couple of wing-nuts so now all I have to do is release two screws and the panel pops off. The original design was ridiculous. I'll be adding door trim edging tomorrow to give the cuts a cleaner look.

Anyway here's the pic.

Hmmm. Pretty unique. I like how you used the large digital designs and kept a darker pattern to fit your Jeep's paint. I think it might look a little better though with more green and less reds.

Yeah, I need a darker green. I just grabbed the darkest flat black Home Depot had. In different light, it looks better, the sun is hitting it directly in that pic. I call this attempt number one. Once I am happy with my stencil technique I'll probably go back and re-paint with better colors.

My 8-bit digital camo paint project is mostly complete. I just need some additional trim pieces for the edges.

Thanks! The flat black Element panels for the tube doors were sooo boring and were showing scratches and stuff. MineCraft sort of inspired the digi camo design. I made the stencils in about 30 minutes. The whole was super easy and fast...as you can tell if you inspect them too closely, haha.
