Boise, Idaho
I can hear the crickets....sorry you are not getting much activity. Might check with the "Rocky Mountain" group too. We did have a run to Virtue Flats (out of Baker City) with another group last month that was my Jeeps intro to scrape and break....great fun.
Keep your eyes open. Something will pop up.

Yeah, crickets indeed, which is a bit depressing as I see the ALL over Boise...must be a bunch of mall crawlers.
There are some groups in the valley area that cater toward the off-road side, but they aren't all Jeep...I was looking to get a Jeep run together.

Hi From Boise! Nampa actually!
Proud member of the Idaho 4X4 Club we currently have 5 JK's in the club! Check out our site we will be doing a VERY cool run to Miner Grave on the 20th Everyone is welcome to join us!! Should be Over 20 rigs we are shooting for 30+!!
June 20, 2009 Pull-out at 9:30am
What: Miner's Grave Trail Run is a mild ride with a play ground in the middle. Lunch stop is at the grave area, it's flat with plenty of shade.
Where: The drive heads up through Idaho City (last stop for running water) and heads up into the mountains from there.
WARNING: This trip can provide Idaho Pin-Striping. During the pre-run, we will determine the extent of the pin-striping. If there are enough people posting who are concerned with pin-striping, we may go in and come out from the top (much less pin-striping).
When: Meet at Albertsons in Columbia Village at 9:00am and pull out at 9:30. This is a most of the day run, we should be back at Albertsons sometime around 5:30.
Options: Dinner in Idaho City (Trudy's makes a killer burger). Or, maybe, we can meet on the patio at Don's Hilltop (where my mouth is already watering over a prime rib sandwich).
Pre-run Results:
- Found a new playground
- Cleared the main road
- Found a new way in - no pinstriping
- Found a bunch of snow for some playing - if desired
- Without playtime, it's about 5 hours round trip from Idaho City - 7 hours from Boise
