Love to have you, but dude this run is Sunday! Would have to be a hell of a hangover to not make it from a Fri night party.
Been looking at google maps and have found a challenging trail I'd like to try off the run to the second pit that goes up to 4700ft. Need another well set up rig like yours to try it so hope you can make it.

Mark me as tentative.

I'll let you know before the trip if I can make it...and if I do I am making it to the top this time.

My biggest pitfall was when I had to stop on the incline waiting for the other folks on the trial to turn around...Well that and I just couldn't manage the clutch well Second time is a charm, right?

I'll let you know if I can make it as that was a blast!

I think you need to be more careful about air pressure. I was surprised how little traction you had. Would love to have you join us...only going to do one tree this week so more time for fun. And the weather looks awesome. Snow down to 1500ft and partly sunny on Sunday

P.S. Riding w/ John and Allister was a kick. Really easy going and, when I had issues, John was right there to spot me and help me out. I highly recommend the run if you can make it. Lot of snow, great scenery and, most of all, a lot of fun.

Thanks to John and Allister for last week's run and hoping I can make the next one.

What are you guys airing down to? I found some snow today at 7700' in Central California and aired down to 15 psi, but it looked like I could have gone more. I am worried about losing a bead though.

people with beadlocks go as lock as 2-3 psi with really stiff tires and 5-10 with others.

I have had success running 10 psi without bead failure on my non beadlocks.... then again, I carry a spare.

I might try a tad lower.

I usually ran 9 without beadlocks last year but ran as low as 7 once (aired down more after I was already in the snow). Forgot to mention, that was with a 12.50 wide tire on stock 7.5 wide wheels. This year with beadlocks I am running 5 or 6.
