Hey guys, I may be making a trip out to Cle Elum Valley this sunday. Want to know if anyone else is interested in meeting up for it. I know this being Friday is kinda short notice. Let me know if anyone is interested.

I have no set plan yet, but might leave from my place around 5am to aim for around a 9am arrival at trailhead, heading up Fortune Pass Trail, up Hawkins Mines, then on the way back down Fortune Pass, divert off to Van Epps Pass/Loop and then back out to civilization by 5 or 6pm. Maybe also Mine to Market trail to finish up if time permits.

Trip Canceled, something came up and no volunteers to allow me an excuse to still go. I'll reschedule for another time.

 

Not sure you would've made it very far anyways. Its still winter in the mountains.

Last year I think I remember there being snow patches in August up at the top. Great trail though. Good views, huckleberries.

 

There will be work on the trails at Liberty, beginning the weekend before Memorial Day Weekend and continuing through the week. Maybe I will see you there.

 

Trail work at Liberty? Sounds cool. Where are they going to be on Saturday the 22nd?
