Clicking sound while in reverse.
So I have noticed over the last week I am getting a clicking sound when I am in reverse. At first I thought maybe it had something to do with my suspension but the more I listened over the last few days it has got me a bit concerned. Any Idea of what might be causing the click click click I am getting in reverse. Jeep shifts in and out of reverse with no problem.
Is it wheel speed variable? Get faster as you speed up? A few things to check: Debris in the caliper. Something hitting the driveline. Lastly RZeppa CV joints.
Could be other things too. I'd check these first though.

Thanks I will take a look. I don't think speed has and effect but will listen.
So I crawled under the jeep really fast and inspected my drive shaft boots they all look good as far as I can tell. I am going to crawl under the rig tomorrow to try to see if I can find any thing wrong once I have better lighting without a garage day light is my friend. I was talking to a buddy that said things could just need to be greased which I am going to look into. I will get as far as I can with my limited knowledge and help from others before I take it in.
Well after racking my brain not able to find anything wrong my self I broke down and took it in. I took it to the 4wheel parts in my area and had them look at it. The problem ended up being a bad rear driver side wheel bearing. It started making noise while driving there so I am glad I took it in. they fixed it on the spot so I hung out and watched the first half of the Sea Hawks game while it got fixed up.
