Factory hardtops suck. If I ever put one on again, I would silicone the panels shut.

Welcome to the wet northwest.

On my '11 JK hardtop, the Jeep dealer in Olympia has changed out all the weather seals 3 times in the last year. Each time they tell me its a re-designed seal set from Jeep. Each time it has kept on leaking.

Without a garage I think the only solution is a cover.

Looks like you've already got your appointment set up, but I have had good luck with Eastside / Bellevue CJD there on 116th.

I bought my Jeep at Rairdons in Kirkland but haven't been back for service so I can't give you any good info. The sales experience was....typical.

I got it! My CJ had water in the marker lights until I took it to Az to dry out, my DD tj soft top does not leak and my JK freedom top leaks like a sive, go figure. Welcome to the Nothwest as well.

Thanks for the replies. I've got an appointment for later this week.

While we're on the subject, what's the most effective way to dry out the Jeep?

I've pulled out most of the carpet and have it drying in my apartment, but what about the ambient moisture/moisture in the seats? I've just left the windows cracked on non-rainy days to let evaporation escape; and when I drive, I blast the heat even if that means opening the windows to make the temp bearable inside. I just remember hearing somewhere that the heater blows dry air.

Run the heater on high with the ac button on. The ac condenser removes moisture from the air. You could also collect as many as those silica gel packets as you can get your hands on

For services I have been to both and I think Rairdons does a great job and are very friendly and go out of their to help. I would prefer them over Bellevue.
