If you in the Southern Oregon area.. We are planning a snow run on Sunday the 9th.. It will be a great opertunity for some to get that Christmas Tree and meet some great people.. Planning on going up above Prospect.. Hammaker Loop.. Takes us up about 6500 feet.. There should be lots of snow to play in..

Chime in if your interested in going.. Planning on meeting at Spicers in the morning for some breakfast then heading up..

We're in, unless my wife has already scheduled something else without telling me. Blackbird sells permits, I think $5. I've never actually bought one before, but I will for this.

Blackbird does sell them, I picked up two today @ $5 each. So I have an extra one in case someone forgets... Need to figure out a time to meet at Spicers on Sunday.

An aside... Our daughter Shelby just got her driving permit. After one extremely nerve wracking session with her driving I decided that there were some basic skills that needed addressed. She really needed to learn how to "aim" the vehicle, relax her upper body and watch where she's going. So - I took her out to the off-road area in White City with the JK. She LOVED IT! Drove all over the place, thru puddles, straddled objects etc. Got in a little deep in a puddle and pushed enough water that she had to back out to let the "wave" drop because we were past the headlamps!

After that, she drove home and I feel had a much better sense of vehicle "control and placement."

Jeep - the ultimate learn-to-drive machine!

Nice driving lesson. Sometimes I let my 4 y/o drive around the block, well he steers.
