A few of us are talking about taking a trip out there this weekend, since Fortune Creek is still questionable. Report back!

We went up to today. Did 311A to the campground and hit 520. It was good up the hill before the valley. Snowbound. Had to turn 6 rigs around and backtrack 520 to 7920. Whew! What a day. I'LL BE BACK!

Default Jeez

That was the same conditions I had back in May! I was hoping the FS road at the top of 520 would be clear by now, or at least passable.

Not hardly. More snow has fallen since May. And it has created a snow slide that starts on a hill side, cover the road and then down into the valley. I hope some folks got pics. I was busy turning rigs around.
