KM2's are great tires. I would run either these or MTRs. Snow brings as much of a problem as mud. The larger void tires shed the packed in stuff easier. The others can, they just take more wheel spin to dislodge it. And a JK is just not going to be able to do that.

In case anyone out there cares, I bought 5 315-70-17 duratracks today. So far so good, my worries about going to this size seem to be unfounded, power is fine with stock gears and the six speed. People call these 35's but from the ground to the top of the tire is really closer to 33.5, but I kinda expected that. The spare is not even close to fitting so I guess my next purchase is the tire carrier for my bumper. Other than that I'm looking forward to getting it back off road to see just how bad it rubs everywhere at stock ride height.

Thumbs up RE:Tires

Great choice of tire, I think for what you were looking for.
I think you will be really happy with them.
Give us a review of them after you put some road and trail miles on them too.

X2. Let us know how they are for you. The missus seems to like the looks of them.

Good choice in tires. I've put about 4,000 miles on mine and they are a great tire. Plus on one off road trip to Tahuya, they made it through the mud pretty well and I didn't feel any slipping on the trail. Look forward to getting mine out in the snow to see how they do in the white stuff.
