I was pretty surprised you guys had done airplane hill with the conditions we had but congrats on getting through unscathed. Those are tough runs for anyone with sheet metal still attached in dry conditions let alone what we were having. Nice job it was good to finally put names with a couple faces on here, hope to meet up with you guys again preferably in a drier climate.

Some of the trails on the poker run were fire break five, archers fire break, rocky uphill, hogs back, and powerline trail we also did university fire power, and part of cedar tree. It was a good day, nothing broken! I did have to have one winch tug backward in the rock garden on firebreak five to choose a better line but was able to proceed past the hang up and get out on my own power.

I need bigger tires!!

We ran airplane hill from the top down as we knew it was too slippery to make it up. It was more of a slide down than run. My buddy was first and had to winch him to the bypass line on the left in the lower section as going over the big ledge just below the middle landing area with near zero traction seemed very perilous. I turned around at the landing and had to winch back up as traction was horrible. I would not try this again in wet weather. No body damage but a close call for my buddy Gary H; he was fortunate to get out of there unscathed.

unscathed, but winching myself over to the left did rip thru my winch line. luckily it was after I had moved enough over. that was a crazy trail. Tillamook was absolutely impressive. You Portland folks are lucky to have it so close. definitely gotta make another trip down there in better conditions.

Nic,

we'll be back to Tillamook when the weather is nice. I'm thinking early summer when it is just damp enough to keep dust down. It will be great to organize a JK trip with you Willamette guys and bring a few more Puget Sound guys with us. Definitely looking forward to a multi day trip so we can hit a bunch of trails and still have time to work a few tough ones yep

Sounds like a plan, definitely keep me posted when we get closer to late spring early summer and your group wants to come back down.

Great photos. Looks like it was a blast! We are lucky to have TSF so close. Great trail system as there is always something for somebody up there.
