I see the status as posted on the USDA is still "Closed". Was curious if anyone has been up to check it out. I'm guessing there was some sort of slide or wash out up there this year that's going to require significant work to repair?

I haven't been up there myself but did see a report on the Cle Elum Trails Off-Road facebook page that described a group that made it last weekend. They reported 2-3 ft of snow and challenging conditions for the last mile. Don't go without a partner and winches until the snow melts.

Excellent! Snowpack hanging around into July is better news than damage.

As of July 2 weekend people have made it to the lake. Making a trip up tomorrow the 13th, should be at the trail head 10ish with another guy if you're interested.
