[QUOTE=jsears;2688527]Here's mine. I don't run a front plate either.....

Too funny. A state trooper flashed me as we were leaving the day use area. Wanted to know where my front plate was. I told him I remove it and toss it in the back so I can keep up with it. He nodded and let us pass.

I have one of those license plate holders that uses plastic C-clips to mount to my roller fairlead. The c-clips break every time I take it on or off. I got sick of buying the clips.....so I keep the plate in the Jeep with the broken clip.

If I ever get pulled over, I will show them the broken clip and just tell them I am waiting for the new clip in the mail.

Rugged Ridge has a nice one. Backing plate and metal clips. I still take it off at the day use area though.

Default NW STinger

I'm on Northridge4x4 right now purchasing my LoD shorty stinger and I got this itch so I checked the RCW and read the same as ya'll found. Bob do you run with a Stinger? I have a buddy that got some guff from a trooper up in Issaquah because he had his Hi-Lift mounted across the hood and his tires stuck out too much. Didn't get cited but I don't want any trouble.

RCW also says the bumper has to cover to the centerline of the tire too :(

I'd hate to spend the dough just to have to scrap it.

Have ya'll had any run ins with the authorities or do they let you be?

Thanks for the info btw.

No Stinger here. I have a brush guard hoop to protect the front grill. It has a support down either side. It's something I bent up and welded on myself.
