Idea tossing....
I get crazy ideas on occasion and I am tossing this one out there to see if there is any interest.
Labor day is fast approaching, and summer is drawing to an end. So I figured before the summer ends and we all put our tops back on; how about a little Northwest JK Fest Weekend Extravaganza?
The idea is we pack some camping, off-roading, a farewell to summer and making some new/old friends all into a weekend of fun.
Here's the breakdown:
Friday:
Early arrival for those who took Friday off from work. Set up camp, hang out, meet-and-greet. If there are enough people/interest maybe go for a trail run. That evening, hang out, chat, and have some delicious
.
Saturday:
Arrival for everybody who couldn't make it on Friday. Schedule a big trail run for everybody on Saturday starting early afternoon maybe?!? That evening, big bon-fire, hang out drinks, etc.
Sunday:
Pack up camp. Maybe a final trail run. Part ways, and everybody can have Sunday and Monday to do whatever they like......
Other thoughts:
Everybody who is in the Northwest is welcome, and we aren't exclusive to JK'ers. So if a friend wants to come along they are more than welcome. Of course, kids, wives, significant others, dogs, cats, etc. are also welcome.
Feel free to toss out ideas of camping spots, and trail runs. If there is a wide array of interest we will probably have a wide array of JK's as well. It would be nice to accommodate everything from stock to extremely modified.
There we have it. It maybe a dumb idea or not, I tossed it out there. Any feedback/interest?

Here's one option to camp and meet some good guys. There is basic trails to hardcore crawling. It's only 10 miles from christmas valley sand dunes
Shane has showers and bathrooms on his property. Plenty of camping as it's his property
Plus you can meet some great Jeep guru's. Just giving you guys another option

Have you been?
No but have seen tons of pics. Place looks awesome. I beleive it's always good to know the true Jeepers in the area. Shane is a straight shooter. He has taught me a ton along the way
He's been wheelin all his life. I like being around those type if trying something I might not on my own. Christmas valley I've been to and that is always fun. Air down to 8lbs and your golden. Call em J, he's very personable and will tell you anything and everything about his property. He did tell me to invite anybody that loves camping and wheelin. NON jeepers are also always welcome
