Default Jeep Mechanic

Need some help guys. My dad has a 1998 Grand Cherokee Limited with the 5.9 liter engine. He has some major engine issues and it looks like he is in need of a top end over haul or a brand new engine. I think the dealership is trying to rip him off, but he doesn't know any reputable mechanic (He's from CA like me but living in Kent, WA for now).

Can you guys recommend anybody that is qualified to do that kind of work that is located near Kent, WA?

Thanks in advance.

All the local enginer buildres use standard shop rates. So, not much in the way of deals. Have ya'll thought about a replacement motor from a yard?
