Default Logging at Tahuya?

Thinking of heading up there this Sunday, but I heard that there is some logging going on. Anyone know if it has anything blocked/closed?

Have'nt heard of any logging going on in the ORV park itself, You could call the state park people and get the word. I know there is some heavy logging going on in Capital forest that has alot of roads closed..

Just to add some info in case someone does a search...

Almost all (if not all) the trails heading to the south end from the north were closed due to logging. My group even followed some of the ones that had signs only to turn around at one point or another due to the trail disapearing under clear cut.

Also, it's REALLY dry right now, so if you're looking for mud, now is not the time. December would be more fun

Saw a silver 4 door with the square JK logo on the side and some mods, nice rig

The trail was completely open when I went there last Tuesday(Oct 5). I had been out at sea and came back, the trails were almost unrecognizable from all the logging. I am glad we still have our trails, but it's a shame so much of the forest had to come down.
