I've been there several times. Just make sure you have some time. Its easy to get turned around with all of the off-shoots from the 4x4 loop.

It really is a good place to get familiar with your rig. Thats where I got to know my JKU.

I just moved up to the area (WA) and I have heard Tahuya is a great beginner spot. I have at my '10 jk for about a year and a half but haven't really pushed it too much outside of the sand pits of south Texas. Any advice for a newbie?

http://www.nwjeepn.com/Tahuya.html Watch this forum or other local forums for a group trail ride, they usually meet at Safeway in Belfair. If you follow someone the first time you won't get lost. It's a fun trail, a stock rig can get through with no issue.
