If you don't want dents and plastic parts getting ripped off of your rig you have come to the (fill in the blank) place!

My answer is (wrong)

Class over!

I had to read that about six times to figure out what you were saying. Now I get it, your fill in the blank word would be "wrong." Sorry man, I think I put together all the runs you've gotten damage on.

I guess my fill in the blank word would be..... right as long as you don't follow me.

Lol. No worries, it has all been fun. I think getting damage while wheeling in the northwest is just unavoidable! I try my dam best to be careful but shit happens!

Damn, just cracked my hardtop yesterday on the tree on the left side top of the escalator on expressway at Walker. I've been up that line half a dozen times now and wasn't having any trouble, just hit a bad angle not far enough away to miss or close enough to stay on the bank to keep the left side from leaning into the tree. Then I got to tow a truggy on 42s back up the mainline as front driveshaft broke at the bottom of the escalator and RWD was not enough to get out even though we turned around and went mainline instead of expressway. It was a long day.

Bummer John. That happened to Alex last year at same spot. This is why I won't run with hard top on Walker or Evans. Feel for ya brother.

Thanks for the sympathy. At least duct tape sorta matches my silver JK. What would Alex do if this happened to Orange Crush? I think I need to recruit Bill S (Boosted) to ride along and spot for me. He knows Walker better than anyone I know and kept a bunch of us out of trouble in the snow on a run last year.

Ps. I'm not gonna be able to make it. Thanksgiving #2 is Saturday at the inlaws.
Thanks for the warm welcome! Too bad you're not going to make it, but completely get the multi family holidays...

Well it might be better than sugar coating it. My experience is the same, wheel anything hard and carnage is going to happen. My wife is starting to begrudgingly get used to it. However I am on a strict don't break anything more this year as she claims I have not only blown this years carnage budget but next years as well. I'll negotiate after the new year for a new one.wink

I appreciate everyone's comments but now I'm going to reel this thread back in to its title....snow wheelin. It dumped Sunday night (Steven's ski area is open!) and the snow was up to 29in per snotel but back down to 20 today with a bit of a warm up. It is supposed to cool down again Sat. I don't know if we'll be able to make it to the top of Tonga in that much wet snow but it will be fun to try. Meet point is the Grocery Store Outlet parking lot across from the big smokestack in Monroe. This is on the east end of town right before the last traffic light.
Address is
Monroe Grocery Outlet
405 Butler Ave, Monroe, Washington 98272
Google map should get you there. Go past the Lewis St light (well marked) and turn right on Ann street right before the next light. I am thinking 9:00 am Sat but am flexible. This is all forest road with snow on it so little risk of carnage unless you go too fast on the way down and spin off the road.
