Actually, we're still at five! Just spoke with Rugbyduck and he'll definitely be coming, as will I. You (1BADJK) and jwetzl will be there and I got an e-mail from tradewindjk who'll be in Bend starting Weds and is planning on being there.

A couple of JK's that won't this time: Rupedog & EIGHTball... Sorry guys! Hope to see you next time! I'm sure this is just the 1st of many runs.

 

Well, I got some really bad news.. I'm out.. My wifes brother Past away this morning in a vehicle accident.. Not good.. Puts a big dampner on everything.. I apologize to everyone and those who were counting on me going due to my knowledge of the area.. I'm really bummed.. But life just keeps throwing curve balls.. Again Sorry to all..

Sorry to here of your loss, my condolences to you and your family. I was looking forward in seeing your JK, perhaps next time. While we are on the trail this weekend, we can start planning for another trip real soon.

Hey everybody,

Just a short post before I go to bed... Met up with Rugbyduck today. Dang, man! That is one sweet JK! Must say that I have a little Jeep envy now!

Picked up my replacement bumper from him. Thanks! Got it installed and finished packing the Jeep for this weekend's trip.

We're down to 4.

As it stands now, we have the following for this run:

One other thing to consider:

Temperature gradient: the long range forecast (last I checked) is that it should be sunny, mid 70's-80's during the day. It will be cold at night though... Temps are expected to be in the 35-37F range, so come prepared. Warm clothes, etc...

Sorry to hear about everyones losses. Fred has been keeping me up to date on the trip. Mrs. Rupedog and I have you in our prayers.
For those that are going have a great time and take lots of pics. So I can see what I'm missing. Watch out for Fred, he is pretty wild and crazy. Like to run around in the middle of the night nude and scream uncontrolably. Handcuffs and leg irons and a large tree will take care of this slight problem. No kidding. I'm going down with top on... back part anyway, if I can figure out a way to store the front panels. I'm running out of room. Maybe we can drop the tops Saturday morning at camp?
