well, there is usually a lot of mud if you want it... but there are a fair number of rock/trails as well. Its been a LONG time since i was in Naches or in TSF for that matter, but plenty of body-modifying trails to be run in both
You are moving to a great state for Jeeps. Lots of BLM and Nat. Forest land to check out. Trails and Logging roads all over the place.

I actually like wheeling on the wet & muddy west side, when I get the chance. Mud changes everything and I don't mind washing it off.
I live in Deschutes County, it is a great place for us Jeep lovers, plenty of trails, lakes, and public land anywhere you look. I'm not a part of any clubs yet, but my friends and I go out regularly. I'd be interested in meeting up for a local run if the opportunity presented itself, however!
