Good idea! Since we are in the preliminary stages I am open to some suggestions.

I was thinking maybe of doing it like the 3rd Saturday of every month or something along those lines. Plus, I don't mind holding it at the same place every time, I think that would be kinda cool to build a relationship with the restaurant (i.e. Jeep friendly).

Every 2nd sat would be fine with me as long as it's a dinner meet up. If I work I'm off at six. The only thing about thirsty lion is that it's a bit.... Trendy... Hahaha so some people might not enjoy that as much. But there are tons of places around. Just depending on what area of pdx.

Default Trendy..

If you want trendy I'll throw up the EDGEFIELD in Troutdale..
Maybe a resturant bar or something towards Milwaukie which might be closer for EVERYONE though. What's that hot dog joint around there that has car cruise ins..
Roakes..? Just throwin' out ideas also family friendly too.

Edgefield would help on our gas. ;-) of we get a decent size party I would hate to see McMenimans not so stellar service take effect!

I think Roakes is what you are thinking of! Never been.....No kids here, but would definitely like to make this a family friendly event.

What about an Old Chicago or Buffalo Wild Wings?

I would be glad to meet folks anywhere. I'd like to suggest Buster's BBQ in Tigard as a potential spot. They have a large parking lot and I believe a banquet room that we could reserve.

Like I said, whatever the place, as long as I'm not working I'll be there!
