Welcome!

Thanks for being our area leader.

If you ever get up the way of Spokane WA, be sure to shoot me an e-mail before hand and we can do some wheeling!

I'll be sure and do that. I have fond memories of Spokane. My wife went to Gonzaga and I attended my first drag race at the strip out by the airport. Awesome facility with the roundy-round on the other side of the bleachers. There was racing on both tracks at the same time, so when there was an oil down, everyone climbed over the bleachers to the other side. It was like a human ant farm.

We actually get through there once a year going to Montana (and come back via Lolo Pass).

Nice work on the Washington trail web site by the way. We should organize a NW JK-Forum run up your way -- maybe in November.

That would be okay, but the only thing I know well enough to do in November is 7 Mile ORV Park (600 acres). I've been on a couple of trail rides in northern Idaho, but don't know those trails well enough to lead.

The 5 approved 4x4 trails in the Colville NF (near Kettle Falls) are closed on November 1, generally due to snowfall!

But keep in touch!

Hey Meljr,

What about a run up here to Reiter Trails area. Rhonda and I would be happy to lead it. Reiter has a meraid of differing trails from simple to EXTREME buggy only.

Good idea. Let's get the NW Area JK-Forum members together at the Halloween Poker Run at Brown's camp for a meet and greet and try to plan a Washington run.
