Reiter area change ahead..
Shocker. Another Washigton park closing it's trails to ORV's.
I've been hauling trash and cars out of our woods for 10 years now and this is the thanks we get?
I really hate the way out state uses our tax dollars.
"Just Gate It" should be the WA State slogan.
The entire North side of Mt.Rainier is still closed.
Every gravel road in the I-90 corridor is now gated.
Yep N.Fork of Snoqualime too, I was there last weekend. Sorry.
Middle fork has on average 6,000 Subaru Outbacks a day on it, don't bother it's gated 1/2 way up at the 3rd Bridge now. But there is a BRAND NEW bathroom, YAY KIDS!!! They give maps to it with every REI purchase.
Most of the roads off 410 are now gated, one road to Naches is still open but expect lots of traffic.
My tax dollars are working double overtime keeping me out of the woods.
Any bets on which one is next? Tahuya, Evans or Elbe???
I visit all 3 parks on a regualr basis and they do seem to be getting very crowded due to all the closures in our hike in or die state.
