Sorry Wes, no intent to leave you hanging, we'll figure this out and I am good for Sat. I was assuming you'd join us at Naches if we decide that is the best run. Is that a problem for you? I was thinking like Mark and want to keep options open until we see what the weather does. I would pick Fortune Creek if there is less snow because it is higher altitude (and very pretty!) but Naches is an easy trail also, that would be a lot of fun in the snow.

Next week I may try to talk you into heading north to hit Twin Lakes at Mt Baker. Your turn to do the long drive

Actually, I was thinking that as well (joining at Naches) as I've never been there. You guys think I could pull it off with my set-up? I'd really dig hitting fortune creek though, for some reason I'm fixated on making it to the mine and the lake.

I could be up for twin lakes, but it may have to wait till the end of the month.

You can definitely handle Naches. When I ran it with Mark, about a month ago, we had a guy run it open/open on 31s. He'd struggle in the snow, but your Duratracs should be fine. I hope Mark is ok with me jumping on his plan

Almost.....if it doesn't snow I'll be pissed. Naches if lots of snow (Mark 8in+?), Fortune if only a little (which is the forecast).

I'm in for some snow wheeling this year, I won't make it this weekend but I'd love to do my first trail run in the jeep, in the snow.

Me too! I can't wait for soccer to get over to free up my weekends. My Rubicon needs more offroad loving! My Samurai is almost back up and running. Whoever said that the automatic transmission swap (th350) was a bolt in was WRONG.

Snow is coming but I don't think we're going to get the accumulation we want. 2"-3" and it will be pretty meh. 8"-12" is when it gets fun but we won't see that this weekend. I'm not sure what our plan is yet.
