Default SPRING BREAK TRAIL RUN this Monday 22nd

Anybody down for a trail or snow run this coming Monday? I figure some may be off for spring break. We were supposed to go camping but it's looking like rain... I'm up for all options. MT. Hood (lo lo pass) Theres Barlow road off of Hwy 35 just past Mt Hood Meadows thats 45 miles long not too hairy at all but scenic. I'm sure there's some side roads to mess around on Browns Camp?? I just wanna get out with some locals and drive. LMK

Cannot make it this Monday but thanks for the invite. I took off 3 days last week and am taking 2-3 more of next week to go wheeling and shooting in Northern CA with some friends.

So no one can run tomorrow huh Oh well hopefully soon I can meet some local JK'rs and do a run. I think my son and I are doing the Barlow trail tomorrow. 48mile trail starts at 4200' and ends at 3000' or so. Should be fun!

I would like to get a Barlow Trail run in before all the snow melts off. As little snow as we have had this season, it may not be long before the entire trail is snow free.

Have a good trip and we will have to meet up in the not too distant future.

OK guys..... Monday there was more snow than expected. So since it was just my son and I (no other rig) we started down then turned back. My tires at the time Maxxis bighorn 35's were in pretty bad shape and sliding all around. Monday we got home and I went and bought HANKOOK Dynapro MT 35's. MUCH MUCH BETTER!!! We did go up towards LOLO pass and had some fun on a trail.

Anyone up for a Barlow trail run Sat? I can get off work at 1pm and be up there by 3... Plenty of light left to do a good 3 hour run or so. I'm up for other suggestions as well.. LMK

I am interested! But I would probably have to be back in town around 6:30 or so! But can a stock guy even make it through Barlow?

Good question. If I lead there shoun't be a problem. I have tons of recovery gear But maybe someone else can chime in. The snow bank to climb over may be the biggest challenge.

How was the Barlow Trail? Did this work out? I might head out there next weekend.
