35's. Same as Outdoors. In my head I just can't justify 37's. I am a pavement pounder 95% of the time. I am going to use the extra 2-3 MPGs more often than I am going to use the extra 2 inches off roading.

I travel to Seattle 4 times a year and every November I have to drive to portland for meetings. Not a bad drive, maybe 2 and a half hours. Northridge is about 40 minutes from Tacoma so you could drive there, let David show you around his new facility while they isntall everything then drive home.

Their new building is quite impressive. When I visited there, the store section was not open yet. Not sure if it is yet but I was drooling over the inventory in his warehouse.
True, but that would have been the easy way out. This way I made some new friends, learned a lot about my Jeep, and also saved some $$$.

I know! I learned very quickly how rewarding it is to work on this stuff yourself (and the $$ savings is nice too!). I knew nothing about working on Jeeps until I sucked it up and said OK when my friends said they will help. One of the best and worst 8 hours of my life..LOL!!! Glad I did it though because I now know how to fix things when they break!

And yes, the wife will notice everything you do to the Jeep.......everything!!!

She said the Jeep looked funny with small tires. I think that was an open invite. :-)

Default jsears lift party

Jeff, Steve and I coordinated a start time of about 8AM here at my house to get Jeff's lift installed. Steve had to bail and said he'd make it another day. So, Jeff shows up at 8ish. Before we start, I let him take a trip around the 'hood and a few miles on I-5 to check out a JKU with 37" MTR shoes. He seemed to enjoy the little ride. We got to work after that. I pulled out the cherry picker and made quick work of getting the front end off the ground and on some jackstands.

We started wrenching to get his stock suspension off:

And the new Full Traction gear on:

Working away...

And then a pleasant surprise a couple of hours later, Steve (Outdoors) pulls up and joins the party.

Many hands make quick work. Here's the passenger side complete. Sway bar disconnects and adjustable trac bar ready to mount.

The front is done. Jeff takes it for a spin to make sure we have the steering centered.

After that the rear goes fairly quickly. And...done.

Now for the comparison shots.

jsears bumper to bumper with outdoors..... 3" FT LIft and 31's vs 2.5" Teraflex and 35's

Jsears bumper to bumper with nwbronco. 3"FT and 31's vs. RE 3.5" and 37's

We started a little after 8am and finished at a little after 5pm. It was a good lift party.....NEXT!!!!

Yeah, that'll establish your manhood in the relationship..
Good luck with that..

Umm' you might want to let her drive it when the top comes off..
Taking her out to dinner might give you some help, along with a card of how understanding she is and you'll figure out what else to say in it...

The STT's are a nice tire imo, but I am biased..
When you wheel with nwbronco, you'll have to be envious like me (35's), when he makes it through a tough section with those 37's..
Then it's our turn to go..
In all honesty, I like my 35's as well. Either size is good to go.
