Trails near Spokane Wa.
Unfortunately we do lack in suitable 4x4 trails in eastern WA (there a some in the Colville NF, but closed through March 31st). However, northern Idaho has a lot of trails! And some of them are open all year long.
If wheeling in northern Idaho interests you, you might want to consider the North Idaho Trail Blazers. We are a family-oriented 4x4 club with many active members. We meet the first Wednesday of each month at the Pizza Factory in Post Falls (corner of Hwy 41 and Mullan Road) starting at 6:30 PM. But if you come, come early as we sometimes have as many as 40 ro 50 people show up. During the summer months, we typically have 4 or 5 trail rides each month; winters are less due to the fact you can't get into the mountains due to snow and trail/road closures by the FS.
If clubs are not your thing, PM me and I can show you where some of the trail are. Unfortunately I have been in the area only since summer 2004 so don't know where all the trails are - yet!
