Full Traction got me a new one 3 days after I talked to them. Northridge and Full Traction were awesome!

I have been battling the install for the last week. Most of the stuff is a piece of cake but cutting those brackets off with an angle grinder was murder. Since I have never done anything this intense to a vehicle before I have been taking my time and I am actually enjoying it. I wasnt prepared for the amount of things I had to remove to make this happen. There are pieces of Jeep everywhere! Tomorrow I start putting it back together. I cant wait to get it back on the road. A week without my Jeep has been painful..

Be careful I think you can only go a couple of inches with your lift before I would consider the drive shaft upgrade and go 1350 because 1310 is stock strength.. Good luck

Yeah I realized that after I bought it... I was kind of annoyed. But its the next thing to be installed. It will have to do until I can replace it. Hopefully it will hold up with the 37" tires for a while.

I have plans of replacing the axles and the rear driveshaft. Guess I will be adding a front one to the list as well..

Long arm kits require Cross-member work. Most provide their own. Either way, Control arm mounts are moved. It's quite a project indeed. Where in the world are the pics??? Post them up. Let us see your handiwork. I wish we were there.

I know how you feel, doing stuff especially for the first time, is annoying and fun at the same time. Its a good sense of accomplishment...now where are the pics? Or it didnt happen

I totally Disagree. The 1310 Shaft is stronger than the Stock shaft . I have been running 1310's with 37" tires and a hemi for years without any problems at all.

The stock shaft is about the same strength as a pop can.

Thanks for the reassurance! It makes me feel a lot better. After I ordered the 1310 I realized there was a 1350 and started having buyers regret. But if it can handle 37's and a Hemi I think I will be fine.

I finally got enough of the Jeep back together to start it and run it for a few minutes! I am working on the steering portion. I should be finished installing tomorrow then off to the shop for gears and axle re-enforcement.

Tomorrow the Jeep goes in for gears and professional love.. I am hoping that they can get the headers off of the upper front control arm brackets. It makes it sound and feel like its got a 1000hp motor under the hood, but with no power.
