I just read about that place. Lol mentioned 5 inch lift, lockers, and 35 plus inch tires. I think you and I would look like small children playing against NFL pros out there.

I definatley agree. Maybe when my stocker grows up... Actually, from what I here it's just not that kosher for a LWB Jeep. I've talked with the guys, and there's a couple of places I may get to, but will need a trail buddy with a winch close by.

Walker parking lot is good with me, see you there.

Walker is a tricky place to describe...i've seen bone stock cherokees power through there. It wasn't pretty, but they made it around. There are trails that are pretty straightforward and a buddy with a winch will pull you through the one or two spots that you high center, etc..
The challenge comes if you get on the wrong trail, then you are in for a bad day. There are trails there that I won't go near because you are guaranteed body damage. Thats strictly for the xj and yoda crowd. Jku is hard because most of the trails have at least one spot that will require very careful maneuvering, lose your concentration for one moment and crunch.
I would run a stock rubi 2dr through there and expect to need a pull or two. I would NOT run a jku through unless I was armored up like a jousting knight my .02

Guess you'll catch triumph and I at Tahuya. :-) I know my slight mods are good there. Lol gussets and sleeves next. Design on a dime. Actually more like a nickel or wooden penny.

Running mainline backwards is what removed my front fender and cracked my hard top....i'm planning a little payback for the offensive tree stump

I'm looking forward to having something happen when I hit the skinny pedal, it sucks when he needle on the gas gauge is moving faster than the one on the speedo.

Building a 3.8 eh? I'm interested, you'll have to fill me in on the details sometime. So, forged rods, pistons, and crank? + head studs? Are you building a stroker? We wants more info!

What gears are you running now? I see 5.13 on your wish list. I'm running 4.88 with 35's and its no hot rod but I'm ok with it. Forgot to mention I am also running Hypertechs Max Power. Not a huge boost in power but definite driveability improvement.

By the way I am also carrying a hardtop this time of year and would not like to crack it on your stump.

Will do. Also plan to bring a chain saw just in case. Lotta trees down last week though it wasn't as bad up north.
