Default Walker Valley Trail reports

1st lesson learned: Don't go off-roading over an hour from home with your Jeep nekked, when Thunderstorms are predicted(although they are very rare here in the NW).
So in typical Walker Valley fashion, ALL the gates were closed today. Could not even get to the rock pit, or Upper Mainline.
We ended up going around the EZ Connector gate (we filled in the area's between some of the large rocks to do so, sorry if that offends someone)

Still hit the Transfer case skid plate(although in this picture, I still had inches of clearance).

I'd say if you wanted more of a challenge you would want to start this run from the East end, but that anyone down to stock, with rock rails, could make it through from West to East.

This looked like a mud pit and hill climb in the area of Ridge Run. We put a stick in it and it was deep. We did not venture here.

Coming back, just as we entered Everett, the heavens opened up, we dove for the first overpass and waited out the downpour. I just realized I caught a Jeep in my picture. The timing was just so that we never felt a drop of rain!! No drying out the Jeep tonight.

Great photos!

I got a good share of rain on Saturday on I-5. Had my top down and suddenly got under a cloud and when I moved right to stop and pull the top up I was already wet enough so just kept moving.
