Washington Jeepin' People
Hey everyone! I live in Bellingham, Washington, that's about 30 minutes from the Canadian border. I've only been here a year, so I don't know where any good trails are. I can't wait to go 4x4'n but I have to wait until my Rubicon comes in. I ordered it in August, and they say it's supposed to ship Nov. 26.

Welcome! Unfortunately I do know where some good trails are, but I'm way over here in Eastern Washington (Spokane exactly!). So if you ever get the urge to come over this way, give me a shout ahead of time and I'll connect up with you and show your our trails!
Did you know you can track the status of your JK, both while it's being built and as it's being transported from Toledo?
Ask your dealer to give you the VON (Vehicle Order Number). The dealer should have that by the time it reaches "D" status. Once you have that you can call a toll-free number and get a period update while it's being built!
Once it's departed on the rail system, your delaer will get a KZM status code (which means first rail departure). Then ask your dealer for the rail car number. Then go out to http://c01.my.uprr.com/pet/motorVehicleTrace.jsp
and enter your rail car number. You'll see a lot of information, but you should be able to make out the status (arrived, departed) from a given location and the ETA to the destination of the rail car.
I tracked my vehicle through the build process until it's delivery here in Spokane! I knew it was here before my dealer knew!
If you want more information, check my 07 Rubicon here:

Lots of info about my 07 Rubi plus some information about the tracking process!
Again, welcome!

Duvall, Wa. Still waiting to be an official newbie (see sig). Hope to head out to Reiter first. Used to motor-bike and shoot up at Stossel Creek and was planning on taking the jeep there too, but the st forest svc has put in all new fences and locked them all. Something about expanded logging or whatever...

Be aware this is a work in progress brought to you by WOHVA ( http://www.wohva.org ).
Once we have compiled a complete list (or as complete as possible), we will be converting the very long table into a clickable map!
I'm up in Bellingham until spring (I'm graduating) and after that I'm headed back down to Puyallup.
Haven't been off-roading yet :( but I'm hoping to get some camping in this summer and will definitely be taking my Jeep! I am looking for some easy trails around the Bellingham area for weekend trips in the next few months though, if anyone has any recommendations.

And here's another list. This one includes many of the above mentioned trails and possibly some additional ones. Includes trails in the Colville NF (eastern WA) as well as some trails/areas on BLM and DNR land:

I am here in Spokane and other than our 600 acre ORV Park on the NW side of Spokane, there are 5 approved 4x4 trails in the Colville NF.
While I'm not too sure about northern ID, I am a member of the North Idaho Trail Blazers and am aware of some of the 4x4 areas in northern ID.
When you are headed this way, shoot me an e-mail beforehand and let's get together!
