Default Work Party at Walker Sat 6-9

I talked Wes and his friend into joining the work party at Walker this Sat. This is to help put up barricades so the mainline/expressway loop above the slide can be reopened. We plan to do some wheeling on the back side trails in the afternoon. Please join us if you can. A daily discover pass is provided for anyone who volunteers. See details at NW-Wheelers Forums I hope its ok to link to another forum...this is for a good cause!

Yes. It looks like we'll be setting bollards, so bring gloves, shovels, and dress appropriately. Any rigs with a winch will be appreciated!

The work party will be meeting at the ORV parking lot at 9am.

Default Got it done

Thanks to Wes and Brian for their hard work digging post holes in the hard pan and mixing concrete by hand. We got the barricade just below the entrance to expressway done.

They rode with me and got to see expressway which we took to the barricade site at the entrance on the west end. We left their rigs on the east side of expressway so we could run the backside trails when done.

We also had a little fun on the way out after working most of the day

Overall a good day of working and wheeling.
