Could not agree with you more. I purchased my first Trek Y33 when they first came and have always stayed loyal to it. I just purchased another Y33 frame and plan on building another bikeClick image for larger version

The Y33 rode ok back in the day, but the new suspension designs and shocks are super plush and still pedal real well. I like the VPP design myself. A new bike would blow you away. They have come a long way since the old Y frames.

Yeah, Your right they have come a long way in frame design and suspension. I was going to order all XTR Components to use on the Y Frame but maybe I will fork up an extra 2 grand to put towards a good frame

picked up my new bike today! first time i ever got a mountian bike, always rode BMX. i got the Felt Q520. i like it, the 17.5 fits perfect for me. disc brakes are a hell of a lot better then anything else i ever had! i love it! only thing is the seat MURDERS!!!!! my ass!!!!! haha
