Default Snowshoeing the Red Mountain Mining District

Amanda and I decided to take my new JK down to Ouray today so that I could do some snowshoeing and so that we could check out the mountains this winter.

Our first stop just above Ouray

A few miles before reaching Red Mountain Pass, we pulled off the highway at CR 31 so I could do some snowshoeing.

The weather and the scenery were great.

I don't know if you have a model picked out or not, but you might want to check out 'Bear Paws". I have these as that what a lot of the guides use. For the kids, I saw some cute ones in LL Bean..........if your interested....
