Over the years I've had the privilege of travel extensively throughout Alaska. I've stood 10,000 ft high on a glacier in the mountain range of Denali National Park Alaska with Mount McKinley just out of reach. I've stood at the shores of the Arctic Ocean watching whales surfacing at one o'clock in the morning. The list goes on and on. With each experience I've had, there is always one thing that comes to mind. There is a power out there that is greater than my own.

When I'm not using bush planes, I love using my JK which is a big plus that allows me to get close to the animals I photograph.

Once again, the image of the mountain lion was great!
Keep shooting!

Some incredible pictures on this thread thanks for sharing

Very much the amateur learning about working with lighting and color, focal length as I find the time and sources of good information.

Below are a few that I have taken in the past couple of years. Currently working with a Nikon d5000 and its kit lens.

These are a couple of my personal favorites but I am biased

I took that one standing in the back of my Jeep - my father driving tracking the dove. Good times...
