I was really impressed with the engineering and construction of this little Jeep. It's amazingly capable on the rocks, too. The only issue will be once my wife realizes I bought it, I'm a dead man.

Wives almost always spoil the fun eh?
They should let men be boys every so often. That's what I think.

I'ma get me a few of them sometime. Probably next year. I want to get a Jeep crawler. Probably one like in the earlier video. I also found me a crawler that is insane. I forget the name of it off hand as it's been a while since I researched out which ones I liked. I have them bookmarked though.

I decided to go look instead of leaving you guys wondering. The crawler I want to get is an Axial XR10. As far as the RC Jeep. I've not landed on one for sure. I'll probably look around some more come time I actually buy one. I've loved these things ever since I was a kid.

I'm more of an RC airplane fan, but I do have an old new bright TJ. I don't have a picture at the moment.

I prefer the 2.2 size for crawling but for scale 1.9 seems to look the best..

Its just the start up fees really. I got $400 +/- into my losi then I upgraded to lipo battery for $60 and tekken motor for $200. Left over lead wheel weight from brothers motorcycle store and I cut my own foams for better traction and have had 100's hours of fun.

This is a project I started about 3 years ago and never finished.

Why?

Because I could never find a set of wheels that looked enough like the 1:1's stockers..

Maybe one day I'll pay to have some nice 1.55s CNC'd.

Snapped this pic with my cell the other day while playing during my lunch break. This little guy belongs to my 4 year old and it's fairly built. Danally 130T Big Bore Motor kit, HR shocks (droop set-up), custom lower control arms, RC4WD beadlocks, RC4WD TTCs, Turnigy 350maH battery, HiTec MG65 servo, and obviously comp cut body. Ended up stripping something in the rear axle...worm gear I'm guessing. So it's currently down on parts order. Will also be ordering either a Hilux 4DR body or a Nissan hard body for it soon. Tried stripping the paint form the stock body and obviously it didn't work out too well. Used some old Nitro fuel I had.....not a great idea.
