What set up are you running for Axial Jeep
Getting the Axial Jeep kit and wanted to know what motor and ESC you guys are running and how they perform.

Tekin fxr and a 35 t motor. Preferably a holmes hobbies motor.
Have burned up 3 castles in the last few years. Have never had a problem with the Tekins. Have some that are over 6 years old and stil working great. |

Holmes motors are the way to go and I agree with a 35 turn. |
This is the part i'm still learning.Would a 55t motor be better than a 35t for crawling? Please educate the newbie

I like my 55t. If you are running more scale and with a group maybe a 35 but my 55 hasn't failed me yet

Also depends on what battery setup you run. A 55 on 3s would be close to a 35 on 2s in regards to wheelspeed. Torque would also come into factor. The torque masters from holmes hobbies are great motors. |
