Default Can anybody ID this pic?

After a day of some light 4x4 and harder Rock Crawling I came home to discover that this differential overflow? is leaking. Is that to be expected? It's going into Off Road Evolution this week so I guess if it's something I need to be concerned with I can have Mel take a look but I know with all the JK braintrust that belongs to this forum someone can ID and say if it's normal...thanks in advance for the help!

Usually when fluid comes out the vent, its because its over full. Id pull the fill plug on the dif and make sure its not over full or contaminated with water.

To add onto what Bly109 says: If you've replaced the diffy covers and you've filled it up to the drain plug, that may be the culprit. Look through this thread, and especially at the pictures on post #4 and #5:

Things like this happen all the time when wheelin. In this case it's no biggie. Good that you check your jeep out after each run though, best way to prevent big problems in the long run

Well we haven't touched the diff fluid...only about 3.5K miles on the Jeep. We didn't go through much water, save a probably 6 inch deep stream. Hmmmm...
