Couple things...
If you ordered them from anyone BUT Northridge, you're probably not getting the JK specific 920's or the new XT42 bulbs that seem to be the best fit for the JK. If you run our 4x41's or something of the higher draw ilk, you're not going to be able to get them to run properly. And they won't have the H13-H4 adaptors in the box. David paid us to make them and he gets the first couple shipments. Now having said that, it's possible he sold them wholesale to another guy who sold them to you, so be sure to ask.
They're on the way...we're not going to make Christmas...sorry guys, we tried but IPF builds in Japan. It's not exactly a short trip. But right after should do it.
As for Brighter... yes, they can be. When you measure in Lumens per watt, if you use a more efficient wire, glass, gas filler etc you can get more lumens per watt out of the same draw on a bulb. That's how we do it....so yes, they can be a little brighter. We also change the color of the light from a yellow to a clearer blue/white. And as Eddie points out... the new housings make a big difference, too. By collecting and redistributing the light where it needs to go, you're going to get a much better pattern => you can see the stuff you need to see.
I think that answers everyones questions.
Aloha!

Thanks for the update...was hoping for another present under the tree from Northridge...oh well...New years gift!
I'm super stoked for these. Most of the time I feel like my headlights are not even on, when in fact they are. I have to run my fogs to see the road in front of me. Hope they are making a toooon of these, cuz they are gonna be popular!
