Got to cook a Birthday Dinner, but I'll have my pics. up tonight. I think the plastic bumpers on th JK's are crap BTW. Once I washed off the mud it revealed more travesty.

The wife is extremely happy with me right now. I shouldn't have washed it.

I'm not sure the mud was doing a very good job of camouflaging the damage, but at least she's extremely happy with you (much better than the opposite).

Default Christmas Ride at Mountainside Pics

Enjoyed meeting everyone - I had a great time even though it was a little wet. Here are a few of the pics I have - I'll post more later.

Winding along the trail (below Upper Loop).

Posing on Rev Limiter.

On Lazy Days trail.

In the old Mud Pits. We talked to the owner on the way out, and he stated that he filled them in because the "mud bogger" crowd was a little rough around the edges, and he wanted Mountainside to be more of a family place. He said that for 2010, all the new trails were going to be built for stock to slightly moderate Jeeps as that's the type of vehicle the folks he wants to attract drive.

He is called Rock Yuppie on the Mountain Side web site forums... I lke he is doing that too...We like to camp and ride...and some of those cats make it difficult,,,,get too drunk and show that ass too much...When all they gotta do is ride and have fun... Glad ya;ll had such a good time,,,,I really do hate we missed it...

I had a great time and it was great to meet everyone. I only ended up with minor damage (license plate holder) trying to climb a hill right before I left. So who is going to plan the next ride I am ready to go again? The only thing i didnt like was washing the jeep in the cold and getting all wet.

Default Fun Day

No one stuck in mud to my knowledge - not even the stock 4DR (first pic below). But Bama JKX had to be winched after trying a very difficult obstacle called Log Jam - bunch of wet, muddy telephone pole logs placed sideways on a steep little rise . . . extremely slippery.

NY-Vmax-Joe drove all over, albeit not without riding on the skid plate a little. He drove 4 hours from NE of Atlanta to reach Mtnside, but had a blast.

This is where we would regroup, air down, air up, etc. since there was some gravel to walk on.

Posing on Rev Limiter.

More posing on Rev Limiter.

I'll post up the few pictures I took later on but, the damage report is in:

Passenger front fender bent downward ( brushed up on a tree)
Punctured rear tire in sidewall, Shop says I need a whole new tire, but it's pro-rated .
AND, the Jeep is possessed by demons. It attempts to lock all doors randomly every couple seconds, the remote keys won't work, nor do the power locks inside. I think I got something in electrical department. It locked my keys inside at the carwash today. Which is the third wash it's been through and it's still a mess. I was shoveling mud off the driveway after 3 hours of powerhousing.

I also took the horn out and dumped the mud/water out.

ALSO....I was supposed to meet a few of you back at the parking lot to air up and I guess you guys bet us back because we waited for you and didn't see you guys. Hope you guys got some air before you left. I had to help the TJ guys with a flat before we left.
