I was shoveling mud off the driveway after 3 hours of powerhousing.

Base model X for me!
No stinking power windows, locks, remotes, cruise, navigation, and other crap to wig out on me!!

I haven't even had a chance to wash mine yet. It's been sitting in the garage since I got home that night. My tail pipe opening was crushed half way closed but my craftsman robo grips fixed most of that before leaving mountainside.
I'm sure after the bath, I'll see scrapes on my rubi rails and stock skid plates.
There was quite a few times I clunked and bashed some rocks. (that one downhill decent with creek and big bolders was hairy being stock)
I did back into a tree bumping the spare tire and thought for sure there was going to be tailgate damage. I'll look alittle closer to make sure.

We did....for the most part. There was a group of four other non-jk's that we knew where coming and I only saw ONE other vehicle out there.

I have an X....AlthoughI think the demons were caused by me powerwashing the inside of the doors. I ripped apart the doors last night and cleaned it up a bit. Problem seems to be fixed.

My new tire is being mounted right now. So now I just got to fix the fender and its all good....except for the insane amount of pine stripping...

Mountainside is my favorite place that I've been. Sorry I couldn't make it.

Hate to say it, but you did tell us so.

Default A few more Pics

Nice to have another 2DR out there with me, although all you 4DR guys are really swell.

Trail winding and then circling above where you can see a couple of the group.

Nice doors.

Nittos on this Rubi drove everywhere and more than most of us.

Slick Slab.

DStack doing a little flexing coming off this mound. You can see my tire tracks in the mud as I went down first, but no one was around to take the pic.

Finally had to winch Bama up Log Jam, but he gave it a good go - almost made it at one point.

I finally got around to cleaning my jeep inside & out yesterday with a few hours spent doing so. I gotta say...the Mountainside or Alabama mud was much easier to powerwash off then Georgia red clay!

Damage report:
My tailgate does have a minor crease from backing into that tree but it's really not noticeable untill I show you. If I didn't sport the spare tire on the gate you would see it more so.

Rubi wheels have a few more scratches & rash, nothing too crazy.
Rear bumper plastic now has some rash on bottom corners.

One rubi rail underside had a nice gash / rock slide mark, and did it's intented job protecting the rockers!

My halfway crushed tailpipe opening, I bent back the best I could and is not factory round but now forever more shaped oval, unless it gets tagged again.

Default Mountainside Mud Pits

Here's an old pic from Oct 25, 2008 that shows what the mud pits used to look like. Owner dispensed with these obstacles in order to "filter" the type of patronage his park was attracting.

What they look like now (this pic was taken from a location above the YJ in the previous photo and looking back). Note the "boulders" which came from the old Rock Garden located in the parking area, and which were used to partially fill in the pit. The truck in the background is a park vehicle - the owner interrupted his work to watch us playing in this area.

Finally got a chance to post the pics I took.

I really wanna go out and play some more. On a nice day.....I don't know what that's like. I've always gone out during a flood or overcast weather.

Now I also want more height and wheel travel.....6in TF long arm????
