I've got the Gibson dual cat back and IMO it does not sound like a Honda whatsoever. It grumbles at idle and roars at speed. I'll post a vid on my youtube channel later tonight.

I also have the Airaid cold air intake system and combined with the exhaust and TBS, I definitely noticed an improvement in performance turning 40" tires.

The dry filter/oiled filter is a debate a lot of people have. The oiled filter can be washed out and re oiled so they are usually high mileage. You can over oil the air filter and damage sensors all through your motor. The dry filter is the exact opposite. I've never ran one nor do I understand the gains so hopefully someone else chimes in on the dry filter. If you do go with Gibson invest in a good set of exhaust tips (magnaflow, MBRP). If I had to do it over again I would buy a MBRP or possibly flowmaster but do check out the exhaust clip forum. It will give you a good idea of the different sounds each system has to offer.

I will say that being 24 yrs old, I still think this exhaust is loud and would be better paid with a larger lift and larger tires. It still has its moments where it sounds good and I haven't taken it off yet.

the gibson tips are 2.5 ID and 3.5 OD right? My tip is rusting on my flowmaster setup and I would LOVE to get my hands on one of those gibson tips. (not a hijack - just PM me if you got one laying around)

MBRP makes high quality cat backs that can also come e/powder coated. I like the sound, not too high pitched, low rumble. I chose to just take off my muffler and use the $500 on gearing, but way too loud for most people.

I bent my stock tail pipe on a rock a few months back so I decided I didnt want to deal with a tip. I had a Gibson system on my 98 Yukon that I loved so I was going to give them a try again. However, in my research I heard the MBRP exhausts on youtube and they sound great. Plus they're a sponsor here!

I got the Black "Off Road" System. The black is actually powder coated on.

I'm running a K&N drop in with an AEV snorkle and a flowmaster Super 44 relocated to the old evap location.
The Super 44 sounds really good, not that loud, but not like a ricer either.
I am really happy with it. I have run the exhaust with no muffler, with a cherry-bomb, and now with my Super 44...I like the Super 44 best of all of them.

Check out our clips on Youtube...We have both a standard rear muffler system, as well as an off road relocation that moves the muffler up front between the frame rails for better clearance.

These systems have a mellow tone when cruising, not too loud inside, but have a deep growl when you get on the gas. Here is a clip of each system:
